In looking through the list of features coming with the release of GP 2010, I can’t help myself but ponder at how this release (like all releases) is an indicator of the product’s overall strategy.  My conclusion in looking through the features is that Microsoft is back on track to move the product up the food chain to soley focus on mid-market organizations.  The new functionality is very powerful and offers customers quite of bit of integration/analysis flexibility, but like all functionality comes some aspect of complexity.  This will attract the users that are willing to take the time (and money) to setup and utilize the value offered by these features.
